Juliet Wagner, Licensed Massage Therapist
I completed my massage training at the Denver Integrative Massage School in December 2013. Prior to that, I worked at Naropa University, a Buddhist-inspired, accredited university in Boulder, Colorado. I also lived at the Tassajara Zen Mountain Center for almost 3 years, immersed in Zen monastic practice. During that time, I learned a lot about gourmet vegetarian cooking, slowing down, and noticing the world around me.
Currently, I balance my massage practice with work for Windhorse Elder Care as a Basic Attender and Team Leader. I am passionate about ensuring that our elders receive quality companionship, care and understanding, and have a particular interest in working with Alzheimer's and dementia clients.
I have always been an avid learner and love to work in an interdisciplinary way, exploring the connections that appear in body patterns, movement and emotions. Over the years, I have delved into aikido, aerial dance and Argentine tango. I love to observe people and notice where they hold tension and discover how to help them release it, so that they can develop healthy movement patterns. I am fascinated by the innate wisdom of the body and mind, and what is possible when we pay attention.
